Tradition Range

kba-traditionThe Tradition Range is refreshing and fruit forward, expressing the true identity of the grape variety. The grapes are sourced from various soils mainly composed of limestone loess and loam/clay, which are located in Husseren Les Châteaux/Eguisheim and surroundings between 300 and 400 meters of altitude.
100% Hand harvested, the wines are slowly pressed for 3 to 6 hours before decantation and until they begin the fermentation process. The maturation on fine lies will provide stability and body to the wines, before they can be filtered and bottled.

The Tradition range is composed of 6 wines of many occasions.

The true expression of the grape variety!!

Trois Châteaux Organic Range

kba-trois-chateauxThe Trois Châteaux Range, our organic wine range, is made exclusively with domaine owned vines, grown with the principles of biodynamic viticulture since 2004.
The domaine has officially received the AB certification for the vintage 2007 and the Demeter certification for the vintage 2008.
Trois Châteaux Wines are authentic, emphasizing the expression of the terroir on which they are grown.
Trois Châteaux Wines are raised according to ancestral biodynamic practices without the modern technology. The whole grapes are delicately pressed for 8 to 16 hours in order to extract the finest aromas from each berry. The clear juices are gently decanted before being sent to the tanks to begin the fermentation process.
The fermentation takes place at its own pace for six to eight months, in the most natural fashion, to emphasize the work conducted in the vines. No yeast is added to the Trois Châteaux Wines; the fermentation begins and stops on its own.
Once the fermentation is completed, the vines are raised on lies to be stabilized and that until they are ready to be filtered and bottled.

Discover a range meets the Louis Pasteur’s criteria for great wines:
“Wine, a healthy and natural beverage”.

Vendanges Tardives & Sélections de Grains Nobles

kba-vtThe Vendanges Tardives and Sélection de Grains Nobles are made of grapes from our Grand Cru (Eichberg, Pfersigberg, Florimont) ideally exposed to the sun, and perfectly suited for the production of highly concentrated berries. The grapes are harvested several weeks after the rest of the grapes, in accordance with the climatic condition of the vintage.
They are delicately pressed for 12 to 24h to extract delicious nectar with extraordinarily intense aromas. Vendanges Tardives express over maturity and botrytis, while the expression of the grape variety is more discreet.

Cuvée Caroline since 1982: Vendanges Tardives (Late Harvest) are produced exclusively during exceptional vintages, benefiting from cold, yet sunny and windy end of the harvest season, allowing the grapes to develop over maturity. Each style of over maturation will give complexity and intensity to the wines.

Cuvée Jeremy since 1983: Sélection de Grains Nobles are exclusively made from grapes affected by botrytis (noble rot), meticulously sorted at during harvest, to only keep the very best grapes.
These exceptional nectars can only be produced during the vintages that combine all of the required climatic conditions.
